Michelle is currently a master’s student of Couples & Family Therapy at Trinity Western University. Having personally benefited from counselling, Michelle sincerely believes that life is not meant to be journeyed alone, especially in challenging seasons. Michelle strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate connection with clients as they explore and encounter meaningful change. Michelle trusts that every individual has the inner resources to experience healing, wholeness, and restored relationships.
Michelle particularly enjoys learning how to apply a systemic framework that incorporates attachment theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) models in her clinical training. She is drawn to working with individuals, children, and families. With over ten years of teaching experience, Michelle’s warm and gentle ability to connect with children and families enhances the collaborative partnership with them. She feels honoured to come alongside people to witness their unique and emerging stories.
