Kurtis is a graduate from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara college and holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The University of British Columbia. His athletic background and passion to help others inspired him to become an RMT. Kurtis uses a combination of treatment modalities to help you reach your goals, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, athletic massage, and myofascial techniques.

Having worked at the Langara student clinic and as an athletic therapist for sports teams, Kurtis has had experience treating a variety of population and conditions. Drawing on his experience as both a therapist and athlete, Kurtis understands how massage therapy can be integrated into an active and healthier lifestyle. Kurtis’ clinical approach is client-focused, combing his understanding of anatomy and movement paired with hands on techniques to help reach your treatment goals and help you move and feel better.

Outside of the clinic, Kurtis likes to maintain an active lifestyle which includes going for hikes, working out, running, cycling and playing different types of sports. Kurtis’ main sport is lacrosse, which he has played both locally and internationally.
